TJ's Tequila On Ice - "Vice"

Vice was my top pick from a long-anticipated frozen semen breeding to Hall of Famer, NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker. He was slower to mature though, and as a result was not run in field trials as a juvenile. Vice has blossomed in the past two summers of training in Montana and become a super bird dog not only on released quail and chukar, but also on wild pheasants and sharptail grouse. He has style to spare on point and is a real pleasure to run in the field. Most of his early training has been on foot but he has progressed more to handling from an ATV as his confidence and range continue to increase. We have begun gentle introduction to breaking, as Vice works best with positive reinforcement and requires little on the negative side. He is well behaved indoors, gets along with all other dogs and is curious but not aggressive with our cat. He does not do well living in a kennel full time, so he would love to be a house dog!

Vice is on the road to becoming a "brag dog" for the right owner, and we would very much like to see him be able to compete in the field if possible. At this point he consistently ranges well enough to compete in most any Gun Dog stake, and handles easily enough for most anyone to hunt with him. Vice loves water and is happy to retrieve but does not have any formal training in that area so far. He measures 20-1/2" at the shoulder (just within show standard height) and has some training for the show ring as it has been my intention to get his show title. We would love to see him become a Dual Champion, as we think he has all the potential, but most of all we want him to have a happy home where he's able to live in the home and to plenty of hunting in his lifetime.
